Join Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia on Saturday, May 2 for the Second Annual Greater Richmond Walk for Wishes. This fun, family-friendly event benefits Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia and raises funds to grant the wishes of children in our community diagnosed with life-threatening medical condition. Powered by wish families, volunteers, and community members like you, participants of all ages will come together on May 2 at Stony Point Fashion Park to enjoy the walk, along with ongoing family-fun festivities including music, face painting, balloon art, food and other surprises!
When each wish comes true, it empowers the child, strengthens the family and enriches the community. By participating in Walk For Wishes, you can help bring the life-affirming impact of a wish to children in Virginia battling life-threatening medical conditions. This fun, annual event celebrates the thousands of wishes that have already been granted, while simultaneously raising funds for future wishes.
Funds raised through this event will benefit children in Virginia who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. There are nearly 200 children in Virginia who are awaiting a granted wish, and support provided through this family-friendly event will help make their wishes come true.
Walk For Wishes participants have the opportunity to register individually or as part of a team, so gather your friends and family for a wonderful day of activities for all ages and camaraderie.
